Resetting the Metric Status

While debugging and resolving Metric errors in Orax SDI, you are able to reset the status of a metric (as of SDI 4).

This is handy when the issue was resolved, but the next metric snapshot will only occur some time later. Resetting the status to GOOD will remove it from the Error list so you can keep track of issues you have not yet resolved.

If your interval is and hour, a day or more, the metric status will stay BAD until the next snapshot (when the server will automatically set it). You may want to reset the status to GOOD for this period.

To reset the status, go to the Metric Record and click on the Update tab. Find the Link that reads "Reset Status". Click the Save button.
