Accountant and auditor access

You are able to create user accounts for your external accountants and auditors. This allows them to login and view all the needed information, accounts and transactions in order to do their jobs. They are only able to view, not change the data.

External Accountant Access

In the Ledgers menu, click the Reports tab to see what an external accountant can see.

To setup a user account for an external accountant or auditor, go to the System settings menu.
Click User Accounts, then select New Account.
Add the personal detail for this user and ensure that the Account Type is selected as Employee or sub-contractor.

On the next page you need to assign the correct privileges to enable external accountant access.
Select:
1. Portal Access.
2. External accountant or auditor access only.

Do not grant this user any other permissions.

The external accountant is now able to log into the system and use the self-help accountant feature to do their job.
