Printing Labels for Inventory

It is possible to print labels directly from the Orax SDI Inventory module to a USB or Network attached label printer. Labels in Orax SDI are created as PDF documents and can also be downloaded.

Labels can be printed from the Inventory Item (options menu), but is often best printed from an stock document (eg. goods receipt, transfer, dispatch or stocktake). The dimensions (serial number, batch number and expiry date) is recorded on stock documents and can provide labels with these dimensions.

Barcodes & QR Codes
It is possible to print labels with the product code and several other dimensions such as serial number, batch number or expiry date. The Orax SDI system can also create barcodes or QR codes for these labels that will be efficient to scan (for inventory management). In order to create combined barcodes, you have to create Barcode Mapping(s) in the Inventory Adjustments option (Options menu under the "Inventory" or "Products" tab).

Custom Labels
The Orax SDI system provides a way for Orax Support to create custom PDF labels based on specific requirements for your company. These can be used for label printing.

Printing Labels
Printing to a USB or Network connected Label Printer is easy as Orax SDI labels are created in PDF format. It can be printed directly from the system or downloaded and printed in another way.
