Mail Queue

The mail queue can be used by System Administrators to analyze mail sending or cancel outgoing emails. In SDi, all new outgoing email is sent to a queue. This queue is flushed every 5 minutes by the mail background process. The interval is an important key in preventing bulk email issues that are related to system errors (internal or external systems).

The mail queue lists outgoing (top) email and incoming (bottom). Use filters to select specific date ranges. The default is now (today). Incoming email are processed immediately and receives a status.

Outgoing emails also have a status. If the status is SPOOLED, the message can be cancelled. To cancel a spooled email message, click on it's ID and scroll down to the email record screen. Use the applicable button to cancel the message.
