Replication to remote systems

Using Orax SDI automation agents, its possible to send changes to remote database systems via SQL updates. Replication is setup per record (database table) on the Orax SDI side and pointed at a remote database table. Once correctly setup an automation metric can be configured to request changes. These changes are picked up from the internal Audit Logs created in Orax SDI when changes are made on data in the system.

The following steps are needed to setup remote replication:

1. Create a replication configuration in the Automation tab under Locations.

2. Install an Orax SDI agent on the remote system.

3. Configure a Metric for the remote agent to request replication changes on an interval.
